Dr. Michelle Andersen is a Baltimore native, living in Butcher's Hill with her husband, children and dog. It has been her dream to open a practice serving the families and professionals in our historic community. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Andersen serves as Dean’s Faculty at the University of Maryland in the department of Oncology and Diagnostic Sciences.
Dr. Michelle Andersen received her DDS from University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Her post doctoral studies included a residency in general dentistry and a fellowship in oral pathology at the Perry Point VA Medical Center with the University of Maryland. She completed a Clerkship in treating patients with special needs at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Andersen received her BS in biomedical engineering from Columbia University, NYC, NY and graduated from the Park School in Brooklandville, MD.
She has completed advanced training and certification in a broad range of dental services including oral pathology, oral medicine, fully guided implant surgery, rotary endodontics, sleep apnea treatment, esthetic dentistry including veneers and composite bonding, and oral surgery.
